Description: Les Straker, is a former MLB right-handed pitcher who played for the Minnesota Twins in 1987 & 1988. A ten-year minor leaguer, Straker went all the way to the 1987 World Series in his rookie year. He made his major league debut with the Twins as their number-three starter behind Frank Viola and Bert Blyleven. Straker became the first Venezuelan to pitch in the 1987 World Series when he started games three and six. The Minnesota Twins won the World Series 4 Games to 3, and were the 1987 World Champions. Les Straker signed this card at a Triple Crown Sports Collectibles Show in Bloomington, Minnesota in 1997. The autograph card comes with a COA from Triple Crown Sports Collectibles.
