Description: ***I travel often, I have a 5 business day shipping handling time between purchase and shipping. Please keep in mind when purchasing. I have shops out of town so I am on the road quite a bit. Shipping: I know shipping has gotten pricey. I can't help that. I try to make it as cheap as possible with box size but I have had a couple of recent items damaged. So I will use bigger boxes and double box when possible. It will add more to the shipping but that is the reality now. Thanks. Fresh to the market from a prominent San Marino/Pasadena family in a huge 1930 built mansion. The woman who had this was the first female mayor of San Marino CA and a major philanthropist. I forgot to say that it is unsigned and I thought it was a piece of tourist pottery until I stumbled on the Weller pattern by accident. It is an unsigned Weller Pottery Arts & Crafts era large bowl from the Souevo pattern/line. It is circa 1910 and was made for a short period of time. This piece is just beautiful and stands about 9 1/4” tall with a mouth measuring 9 1/4” wide and whole width is about 11 1/2" wide. Almost looks like a Native American basket. It has the symbols around the upper top third of the bowl and the clay looks like stoneware or terracotta but not quite sure. Excellent antique condition with no major chips or cracks noted. Kiln kiss on side as seen, small scratches, few tiny fleabites, small divet to clay before firing. Surface wear exterior and interior indicative of age and use. It is heavy at 6 lbs 8 oz before packing. Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact. Keep this in mind when bidding. **International Buyers Please Note: We will not falsify customs declarations or mark an item as a "gift".
