Description: This is the soundtrack vinyl album to the film "Li'l Abner", starring Peter Palmer, Stubby Kaye, and Julie Newmar. It was released on Columbia Masterworks Records, catalog number OL 5460. This soundtrack vinyl album was recorded in mono. It is also a white label promotional copy from 1959, and was never originally sold in stores! It includes the tracks: Overture And A Typical Day If I Had My Druthers The Country's In The Very Best Of Hands And many more! As mentioned above, this album is a white label promotional copy. It is marked "Demonstration" on the top of the label and "Not For Sale" to the right of the label". These discs originally were sent to radio stations and music distributors in order to assess consumer opinion. This particular copy is an extremely rare copy, because it is a white label promo. There are no other copies like it available anywhere on the internet! The record itself is in Very Good (VG) condition with some visible marks but no scratches and has no affect to how the record plays. The cover is also in Very Good (VG) condition with some wear. This is still a great buy! All of my records are shipped in white record mailer boxes. They are always packed tightly with extra cardboard and padding to ensure proper and safe delivery.
