Description: Lilliput Lane cottages are very special...they are so realistic with amazing detail. Founded in 1982 by David Tate, Lilliput Lane is known for the hundreds of realistic miniature models of real English and Welsh cottages, stores, tea rooms and their marvelous Snow Cottage line. Most the miniatures have a signature thatched roof. It's models range from The Tower of London to small rural pubs. The company was sold to Enesco, who eventually announced that the production factory for Lilliput Lane would be closed. The wonderful cottages remind me of being young, and believing in Lilliputians!! This is such a wonderful piece! "St. John the Baptist" is a church that is full of florals and real-life items. You will see the Vicar welcoming a Mother and Baby to the church. The entry and windows are arched. I love the small windows with a cross in them and the stained glass windows on the back! The wood on the house looks so real, and the gardens are vibrant and authentic. I just love the cobblestone paths all around the cottage! Absolutely wonderful! In the original box. No defects.
