Description: Limoges D&C Large Oval Serving Platter manufactured by R. Delinieres & Cie between 18879 - 1900. Gold Flower Fan Pattern. Measures 17.5”x 11.75”x1.75”. Weighs 3 lb 14.3 ounces. Excellent condition. This rare, gorgeous, antique porcelain platter was produced in France by R. Delinieres & Co, and is also marked D&C France. This stunning platter features a luminescent white background, with gold filigree, gilded accents, scalloped, with gold trim and encrusted handles. Please notice the beautifully grooved gravy well in the bottom of the platter on one side. This piece is in exceptional condition, barring some subtle wear to the gilded handles, and some gold worn from the platters edge. Bears the makers mark. 100 to 140 years old with no noted flaws including cracks, chips or breaks. Please view all photos as they are part of the description.
