Linhof Master Technika 121mm 4x5 Rangefinder Cam Factory Cut Excellent Shape

Sold as is for rematching, cams can be recut to each lens slightly different focus due to measured focal length vs indicated focal length, each cam is slightly different. Carefully packaged and shipped quickly, thanks. Linhof original factory cut cams using Master Technika rangefinder calibration have a cursive "L" in front of serial. There are variations from independent shops not using the same Deckel engraving machines, but rule of thumb for Master cams is an "L" prefix of serial delineates, Master Technika calibration, which changed from model V due to the idea of trying to standardize the camears to a single adjustable body calibration. The idea was Master bodies rangefinder mechanism had advanced to the point it was so precise it could be set and always hold in place the same exact calibration. It didn't really take, things happen, people tinker, camera gets knocked out of alignment or user adjusted a camera to another cam calibration not correct for model, so you still need the camera and lens to cut a cam together, but the idea was nice. Technika V rangefinder calibration is different, cams are slightly larger than Master, they usually only have lens serial engraved on top from factory without the "L" prefix, no body serial on verso, some are labled "V" prefix to serial, when factory was cutting both calibrations (model V and Master overlapped in production years) but not most are labeled that way. Technika IV rangefinder calibration is much different and larger sized cams than model V or Master, they are always engraved from factory with lens serial number on front and also the body serial number on verso.
