Description: . Nice old 153 prewar 1920'S Lionel, Like most I buy it needed a lot of work and some parts. bought it from someone who started to restore it and gave up. They painted the frame and shell & decals only. I did the trim. added the bell and light and serviced the motor. Nice engine now. I buy a lot that people start to restore and give up because they do not know how to finish or where to get parts. Has a pull rod in front to rverse engine.Vintage/Antique Lionel 153 Prewar 0-4-0 Electric engine.. see video.See Video of it running. Video is slower than actual running, . I do not sell untested engines. Everything I sell has been serviced and runs. Some one asked me about sparks under the engines when running. If you add a few drops of oil to the side of the roller they will make better contact and not spark.. Runs slow to fast speed. See last pictures of it running.
