Description: This Live Edge BlackWalnut wood is perfect for your woodworking needs. The slab has a rectangular shape is aprox 1/2 " thick," 12" wide and 15" long. The wood has been kiln dried to below 10% moisture but now has a moisture content of between 12 to 16%%. This slab is rough cut and has not been planed or sanded. It has a nice grain and one of the photos has mineral spirits applied to show the grain better.This Live Edge Wood is ideal for those looking for a unique and natural addition to their project. The pictures are from the exact piece of wood in the listing. Alll of our wood comes from dead or damaged trees from our property and from my friends tree service. No living trees are killed to produce any of our slabs. We have lots of different slabs available in red oak, white oak, cherry, hickory, black walnut, Spalted Maple ans ash if there is something you are interested in. We also have large pieces up to 16" wide and 12' long and up to 6" thickness but shipping would be really expensive for these larger pieces. Shipping: We normally try and provide free shipping but because of the irregular package dimensions and large variances in pricing over the differant zones we have to use calculated shipping for our wood slabs.
