Nice mid-18th century copper engraved urban view print. With original hand color.Almost primitive folk-art appearance. Blank margins trimmed down, borders painted black long ago (likely 18th century) as often seen on these types of views. Depicts the Mansion House, now the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London, with dozen of people, animals, carriages, &c. Image displays typical signs of handling and time (given these views were intended to be handled, this is normal), small stain in center sky, but still displays a fine patina and visual appeal. Affixed long ago to thicker cardboard backing sheet, item must be shipped flat and will weight 2-3 pounds due to cardboard protection required. Sheet measures c. 10" H x 16 1/4" W.
