These were bought in the early 2000s when our children were in grade school and sat inside a drawer until now. The wooden pencils have standard type of lead. There is one Walmart "school supply headquarters" pencil within this lot. Some of the paint on the red, white, and blue foil of one pencil has worn off. Most erasers are new, but some have hardened over time. A couple erasers have been used, yet the pencil is still unsharpened...The pencils measure about 7 1/2 inches long. We are downsizing over time and are ready to pass this great set on to someone else.
