Description: These vintage phrase books were found in my mother's estate. Very unique finds. One is a Navy issued French phrase book from 1962 and the other is a Berlitz Italian for Travelers, which based on my research was published in 1954. This comes from a smoke-free home. Sold As Is - pictures provided to show quality and condition of the item. Feel free to request more if needed. Whenever possible, we reuse boxes and packing material. Recycling is important to us. Not too long ago, my mother passed away, with dementia being the primary factor. I am finally in a place to start dealing more with all the items remaining in her estate. For years while she was alive, I couldn't bring myself to do it. She was a consummate environmentalist and hated the thought of our landfills being filled or our oceans polluted. That is why for many things I have decided to sell, instead of donating. With this choice, I know for sure they find their place in the home of someone who wants it, not in a landfill. With her items, I am now going to donate 20% of each sale to organizations that research for the cure and support caregivers of dementia patients. Each listing may support a different organization.
