On the back inside collar of the jersey is the size tag “48” which has been written in black marker. Across the front of the jersey is “Marlins” in teal outlined in black and white. Below “Marlins” on the left of the front of the jersey is Luis’ number 1 in black and outlined in white and teal. On the left front tail of the jersey is the MLB Russell Athletic Authentic Collection label and below is the size 48 tag. On the outside back collar is the MLB insignia. Across the top of the back of the jersey is “CASTILLO” in black letters and outlined in teal. Below “CASTILLO” in the center of the back of the jersey is again Luis’ number 1 in black and outlined in white and teal. The jersey comes with a Letter Of Authenticity from Grey Flannel A.A. Inc. I have included in my pictures this 2 page LOA. Luis Castillo is a 3 time All Star including 2002 when he wore this jersey. He was also a World Series Champion in 2003 and a 3 time gold glove award winner. He played in 1,720 games over his 15 year MLB career and 20 post season games. He stole 370 bases in his career and led the National League in this category in 2000 and 2002. In addition to the Marlins he also played for the Minnesota Twins and New York Mets.
