Description: This magnificent vintage boxed set of poker chips or plaques I believe were manufactured in Italy. The case shows no manufacturers name or label but from my research it may well have been manufactured by either Dal Negro or Modiano. The museum quality wooden case comes in a burled walnut finish with a glass window at the top. The front drawer opens and contains purpose built compartments for 6 sizes of metallic like Lucite poker plaques in various colors. The plaques are; Blue (32) - 3/2" x 2", Yellow (30) - 1-5/8" x 3-1/8", Red (73) - 2-3/4" x 1-3/4", White (82) - 2-3/8" x 1-3/8", Light Blue (42) - 2-1/8" x 1" and Orange (82) - 1-3/4" round. There are 341 chips / plaques in total. The four packs of playing cards are new and not original to the set. The set has been used but comes in excellent condition, without damage or repairs. Box measures 17" long x 11-3/4" deep x 5-1/8" tall. Buyer pays only actual shipping costs with no added charges.
