Description: I recently moved a client who gave me three 4 post beds. Literally she gave them to me because she was going into an assisted living facility. I am so grateful. These beds were hers, one was her daughters and one from the guest room. The bed in this listing was her daughter’s. This is queen sized. Back in the day this was a very expensive bed. She recalls buying it somewhere in the 1970’s. She has kept it in very good condition. There are a couple of flaws. There are some typical scratches from wear and use. The carvings throughout this bed clearly make it easy to believe why this bed was the most expensive of the three. I do not have the ratchet that this originally came with. However if you have a socket set a 9mm socket works perfectly. The worst of the scratching are areas that are very hard to see when a mattress and box spring are on.
