After graduating The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with his B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy as well as his M.Ed in School Counseling, Ricky began working as a Professional School Counselor for Manassas Park City Schools in Manassas Park, Virginia. Ricky is a Nationally Certified Counselor and is a member of both the Virginia School Counselor Association and the American School Counselor Association. Rickys counseling practice at the elementary school level is grounded in both the Person-Centered and Solution Focused counseling theories. Ricky is also a martial artists, actor, coach, mentor, and a deacon with a strong faith in the Baptist religion. As a young black man, Ricky was heavily influenced by his family and friends.
