This Cover to the Bible is indeed a demonstration of mastery, as the contemporary and mentor of Picasso has been referred to as the last one to understand color. A beautiful rendition preserved for decades from a Hollywood stars mid century estate. A true gem. *The publisher is Verve, as the title suggests. There is not a COA and provenance is unknown. It appears to be pencil signed 12.25” x 17.25” x 1” There are 2 deep creases/wrinkles expertly set in the frame so as to be unnoticeable without close inspection. The frame shows minor wear commiserate with age.
