Its brand, Marlin Cole, is known for producing high-quality equestrian equipment. i don't believe the saddle is 100% authentic. however we have ridden in this saddle many, many years ago and is very comfortable. it is still a well put together saddle although i wouldn't think of riding in it today. restore this pretty and rare to find saddle for a collection. marlin was in business a short while so saddle are very limited. i may be able to find a less expensive way to ship but no guarantees just ask. also willing to meet up in many locations in kentucky other states may be arrange are ohio, tn or ok, in Marlin Cole, Florence AZ started a leather shop in Sac City, IA in 1935. In 1945 he moved to Florence AZ and continued making saddles until his death in 1951. He made the complete saddle including the trees. This allowed him to make a tree to his satisfaction and to cater to the custom trade.
