Original cover price was 10 cents. Sniffles , created by Chuck Jones in 1939, was featured in a dozen cartoons, but faded into obscurity in the animation world. Revived in Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies Comics from Dell, he was teamed up with Mary Jane who would shrink herself to mouse size. Mary eventually surpassed Sniffles in popularity & got top billing. Condition is Fine or better. An impressively nice copy with great color & eye appeal. Some corner folds & general surface wear. Cover & interior pages are securely attached at the staples (which are starting to rust). A 2” color-breaking crease at the top edge of front cover. Please see photos.
