Round fluted shape with molded crossed branch finial and double handles on round low pedestal foot. Ladle cut in cover. Blue transfer elaborate Imari fence, pagoda and flowers pattern painted over-glaze orange -red and mustard yellow (the latter used on earlier pieces where later piece would be gilt trimmed). Painted orange luster rim edges. By hand blue under-glaze number 17 and red overglaze pattern number 327 on tureen underside.Unusually fine clean un-crazed condition.
