Bebb Colour Etching "Black Swans" 1953 Printmakers Society of California Original etching and aquatint by Chicago artist Maurice R Bebb (1891-1986). Titled, "Black Swans" and signed in pencil by the artist along the bottom margin. Published in 1953 in an edition of unnumbered impressions for members of the Printmakers Society of California. This mount of this etching also has the blind stamp / embossed seal for 'Printmakers Society of California' together with a press sheet / artist information sheet by the society. This is one of a small collection recently purchased which have been in storage for many years. Measurements: overall 17.5inches x 13inches wide, the etching image being 13inches x 10inches wide. Condition: fairly good condition, not framed but minimal surface wear, etching is lightly tacked to back mount as seen in images - Please see all photos as these form part of the condition report. Note there is a bit of reflection in the photos. Weight without packaging: 95g - this will be packaged between card classed as a medium sized parcel.
