Four chips, three on the underside, one on a tip. They hide amazingly well. See my pictures. Great size cookie jar, displays beautifully. Will work in easily in a cookie jar collection. Stands with lid around 11" tall without lid around 7" tall 24" round 7" across opening Lid is 6" across the top Perfect stem on the green pepper. Glaze drip on the inside of the jar. I tried to capture with my camera. Not visible from outside. I noticed a small area near the bottom that looks like a blemish. It is more noticeable in the photo than in real life. The camera catches a lot of small "areas" that are not readily visible to my eye. This is a fun piece of Americana. McCoy makes great pottery. I am in the process of downsizing.
