Bridger was a trapper, fur trader, traveler & scout, founder and operator of trading post on Blacks Fork, on the Green River, Wyoming and Utah. He and partner Louis Vasquez, constructed a trading post (also called a "tourist camp") in 1843, known now as Fort Bridger. The historical booklet has 38 pages, illustrated with images of places, people (including his daughter, Virginia), his hand drawn maps of areas he had explored and settled. Part of his personal story told in this publication was his marriages to local American Indian women. The booklet measures 9" x 5 7/8"; has stapled binding. It has discoloration on front and back covers; individual's name in ink on front cover; light wear at corners and edges. Domestic buyer pays $3.70 S&H. No International sales.
