Description: For sale is a Mexican gold Escudo minted in Zacatecas in 1860 - please check my other Mexican gold coins from 1860. It is listed in Krause as KM-379.6This coin is the 60/59 overstrike and is the inverted "A" in place of "V" in "VL" variety. This example has nice original surfaces and has been graded AU55 by PCGS. The magnified image of the reverse shows some dark deposits around the eagle's head - in reality you will not be able to see these unless you use significant magnification. The coin looks nicer than the images would suggest.Free Priority Mail shipping in the US and free Canada and overseas Registered Air Mail shipping.
