Description: 143pp, ads, profusely illustrated, blue buckram with white lettering, very minor wear only, generally clean and bright. Mia was a freshman at the Catholic girl's high school, academic year 1980-1981. After graduating in 984, she would enroll at Antioch College, Ohio, where, in 1986, she and three friends formed the punk rock band The Gits. The band relocated to Seattle in 1989, and over the next few years released several singles on local independent record labels, which were all well-received. The Gits released their debut album, Frenching the Bully, in 1992. Their reputation in the grunge scene grew, and the band worked on their second and final album, Enter: The Conquering Chicken, which was released in 1993 after Mia's tragic murder in July of that year. The Gits had both European and American tours scheduled. The tragic story of Mia was featured on an episode of The Forensic Files. Very scarce.
