Description: This collection of 17 vintage bulletins from Michigan State College of Agriculture & Applied Science, as well as some from the Agricultural Experiment Station, published between 1927 and 1936, is a valuable resource for anyone interested in agriculture and vegetable gardening trends from that time period. The bulletins cover a range of topics, from soil management to disease prevention, and are filled with practical tips and advice. Written by various authors, the bulletins are an original and authentic piece of agricultural and gardening history. They are softcover bulletins that have been preserved in a binder and are in good condition. Whether you are a collector or a gardener seeking to expand your knowledge, this collection is a must-have. Topics include Raspberries, Asparagus, Peas, Muskmelon, Sweet Corn, Popcorn, Cabbage, Spinach, Tomatoes, Insects, and other Pests. The following categories describe these publications: Extension Bulletin, Special Bulletin, and Circular Bulletin. See the photos for more details. As a BONUS, there are two Farmers' Bulletins published by the US Department of Agriculture. They are "The City Home Garden" and "Hotbeds and Coldframes." Since there were included in the binder, I decided that they should remain. There are two copies of the Circular Bulletin No. 152, February 1936, "Raspberry Growing in Michigan." The handwritten index lists a bulletin titled "Culture and Use of Popcorn," however, it is not in the binder. This pre-owned binder of bulletins is a family treasure and has been stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home for many years.
