Description: "Standard" CadetWhite Porcelain 2-Piece ToiletCirca: 1948 This piece is in very good overall condition and looks nice from all angles with a glossy finish and few blemishesto be found. Conditions top to bottom: The lid is excellent save for a "scraped" spot on the left side that may beremovable with some more scrubbing and some very faint marks on the front from the toilet seat that have tobe viewed from the right angle to see. The rest is free of any chips or crazing and shows little wear. Theexterior of the tank is nearly spotless, with no damage or wear to be found. The front, sides and backare all in fine shape. The interior of the tank received a good cleaning that left it gleaming white.There is a chip on the rear, top, otherwise all is very good. The toilet base looks very nice overall,but it does have some of the hairline cracks typical for porcelain of this age. They are located at:the back corner, one down the center of the back and one under the center, front of the bowl.These have been there for ages, and do not affect the integrity of the piece. Conveniently,they are hidden from view when the toilet is installed. The entire outside; front, sides andback are free of any chips or crazing and have has a nice glossy finish. The top areawhere the lid sits has some thin discolored scrapes (like the one on the lid) that maybe removable, a couple tiny chips near the back where the seat will be installed, andsome crazing around the logo. The rest is fine. The interior of the bowl is excellentfor the age and is nice and white top to bottom. The bottom of the toilet has beenscrubbed and now looks very good overall.
