Fetching copy of this scarce unit history of the China Relief Expedition, which was formed in 1900 to aid American nationals caught up in China's Boxer Rebellion. The present volume was published by the group and distributed to its members. It does not appear to ever have been commercially distributed. Amply illustrated with well over a hundred photo reproductions of the men, places, and events of the Boxer rebellion. The text contains an honor roll of casualties, a full roster of all the men belonging to the order, and a lengthy statement regarding memorial tablets the order had installed in Bejing.
