Description: The Bombardier CRJ (Canadian Regional Jet) is a family of twin engine regional jet series introduced in 1991 by Bombardier Aerospace. The maiden flight was on 10 May 1991. It was introduced into service on 19 October 1992 with Lufthansa CityLine Airlines. There has been over 1,900 various versions manufactured between 1991 and 2020. Northwest Airlink is the tradmark of Northwest Airlines regional airline service. The airline flew turboprop and jet aircraft for Northwest's domestic hubs in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Detroit and Memphis airports. The CRJ-200 was primarily flown with Mesaba and Pinnacle Airlines. This Mini Wings Northwest Airlink CRJ-200 is an extremely rare, detailed and very difficult model to find. It is a solid resin model with razor sharp Northwest Airlink graphics. The model requires only minimal assembly. It is approximately: 12.5" long with a 10.00" wingspan. All sale are final. Shipping to the USA only. NOTE: The model box does not have a scale listed, but I have determined it to be approximately 1:80 scale. This Mini Wings model of Northwest's CRJ is extremely rare. I have not found another Mini Wings version on an internet search. This model will be a welcome addition to any Northwest Airlink collector, any CRJ collector, or any aviation enthusiast's collection. The last photograph in the series is of an actual Northwest CRJ taxiing for takeoff.
