This set Lawrence "Larry" Vrba era designed Sticks and Stone Collection for Miriam Haskell. p226 "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" (circa 1970s) It is a single stand necklace, but has 2 sets matching earrings. This jewelry is beautifully made! It has butterscotch oval beads either Bakelite or Lucite (The test was slightly yellow for Bakelite, but they also used Lucite beads at the time.) with Abalone shell, white Lucite beads and faux coral branches with cream Lucite disks. The findings are ornate antiqued gold tone. The shell shapes are PERFECTLY matched! There are earring sets which match different components in the necklace. The show stopping earrings sets are adjustable clip back style. Issues Disclosure: This work of art is in great vintage condition with some verdigris to the metal which has transferred to the string in places, but has been cleaned and treated to prevent future verdigris for a few years. The string has loosened over the years and combined with the verdigris could eventually need restringing, but currently is great condition and wearable. The earring sets showed more patina or verdigris and although cleaned and treated, it may have shortened the life of the attaching rod, which could be replaced should it fail at some point, but currently in great working order. This is currently very wearable,plus you get to choose which set of earrings to wear with this necklace. Again, over all in great condition and anyone will be proud to add this Haskell to their designer vintage jewelry collection, well made and wonderful!
