Description: For Sale is this Mitsubishi Thermal Digiplater TDP-324. You prepare the art on your current equipment and from a disk supplied You get a template you can make to fit your presses for width and gripper. Then you drag your art onto the template and send it over to the Digiplater que (waiting room). It produces offset plates for one or two color use. You need to buy the thermal plate material from Mark-Andy print production sales in Chicago. It comes in standard 240 ft. rolls, 10 ", 11.5 " or 13.25" width and is not light sensitive. The machine has a laser bar which images the plate material with heat. Thus no chemistry is involved other that a cotton rub down with a mild starter solution at the press. We used this several years before retirement and loved the easy to work with hi resolution results.
