Description: Vintage original Model Craftsman magazines, twelve issues of 1945 January though December. March issue missing rear cover, October has a rough page on the edge were it has deteriorated . The magazines had holes punched into them and placed in a binder back in the early 1970's over fifty years ago. They were used for reference by a model train and tether car collector for locating vintage tether cars and gas powered model cars, boats, model airplane engines, and model trains. The magazines are in nice dry shape with some wear, but are still very interesting for getting info on vintage model items. Lots of info on some model tether car clubs, boats, and model trains and related ads from all over the Untied States. With America entering the WW2 in Dec, 1941 the tether car racing slowed down, but there was still some going on with older men that were over the age of fighting in a war. There is some racing in these issues and ad's, but not like the earlier magazines I have listed. Please look closely at all of the pictures. If you have any questions please message me. These items were stored in a dry smoke free environment. See pictures for more detailed information. I am selling as is and all sales are final. I will combine shipping costs on items purchased the same day. Items will be well packed in an box and sent by USPS media mail. See my other items for more vintage Model Craftsman magazines. Thank you for looking!!
