You send us your pedal, we perform the mods and send it back to you :) Nice pedal, but the main issue with these is the output...especially when you turn down the gain. The pedal also lacks bass. And it sounds a little more like an overdrive instead of a distortion pedal. Not any more! For the mods for this one:-We replace the A47K Output pot (volume pot) with an A100K for more output.-We drill and install a 3 way toggle switch for different clipping options. You get the stock germanium clipping (smooth, more compressed), open clipping (big boost), and my favorite setting which is the two 1N4148 silicon diodes. NOTE- the toggle switch is mounted in the battery compartment, so you will need to power the pedal with an outside power supply.-We make the distortion less fuzzy, more thick and dynamic.-We give this one more available bass.-We improve the output tone.-We swap out the dull LED for a bright water/clear blue LED. It's clear when the pedal is off, and it's bright blue when the pedal is switched on.
