This beautiful tablecloth depicts farm life in the most beautiful way. This charming tablecloth features a mother hen watching over her baby chicks. One of the baby chicks is hatching in this wonderful loving scene. The details are gorgeous. You will find blue daisies as well as yellow daisies. There is a fence too. Even the grass adds even more detail. The main design is quite large measuring 10 1/2" wide by 6" tall. I love the pattern along the edges. You will find a green border as well as green scalloped edges. Sandwiched between the edge and the border, you will find cutwork embroidered dots. This white cotton tablecloth measures 32 1/4" by 30 3/4". This tablecloth has one small minor flaw. There is one place where the green edge has broken from the fabric. It is very minor, but I have shown it below so that you can judge it for yourself. I am in love with this tablecloth. It depicts the love between a mother and her children in a sweet manner. What a wonderful way to celebrate spring and Easter! I love this style of tablecloth. These "toppers" are actually a nice German tradition. In Germany, they put a plain colored tablecloth on the table. Then they place these "toppers" catacorner in the center of the table. Then when they go to eat, they remove the topper so it will not become dirty or soiled. I love the tradition. It just seems to have charm.
