With the help of Gabriel (Marcello Urgeghe), her father's godson, she drives a large rig across the Iberian plains, visiting her estranged brother Ze Maria (Ricardo Aibeo) in Cordoba along the way and dallying in sexual hijinks to boot. Drama. A spoiled and headstrong young girl, Maria Joao, is due to be married in a fortnight but decides against the idea, despite the fact that she may be pregnant.
