Description: You are looking at an MTH Rail King PRR K-4 that I have modified to be a presentable representation of an H-5 Great Northern Pacific. The cab is built from scratch using brass sheet, wood and styrene. The model has been repainted and lightly weathered. Last photo shows prototype H-5. I took the time last spring to drive to the MTH headquarters (only 20 minutes from where I live) and I was fortunate to be able to get the head tech person to look over this engine. It was a great experience. He fixed one loose solder connection, then ran it on their awesome test track and did some programming on it. This engine runs like new and wheel wear is barely noticeable. No BCR, this has a new rechargeable battery. I learned a lot from my visit to the MTH headquarters ... mostly, that these are robust models and not as delicate as some say. It's used but you are getting a great engine. Model will be packed in its original box. All original styrofoam packing is included, but no manual. $18 shipping to lower 48.
