He is Honorary Orthopaedic Surgeon to the Senior Ireland Soccer Team, Chairman of the Olympic Federation of Ireland /Sport Institute of Ireland Science and Medicine Committee. He has published extensively on musculoskeletal topics. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in Ireland and the UK.
