Muzquiz Fluorite is instantly recognizable amongst mineral collectors and lovers. The Fluorites from the Muzquiz Mine have a distinctly patterned habit on their crystal faces that portrays a 'stepped' or 'city-scape' growth habit unique to the Muzquiz Fluorites. The colors within the Muzquiz fluorites range from a unique soft lavender purple all the way to a deep grape purple color. The Muzquiz fluorite exhibits a shiny luster to the specimens, bringing the fluorite to life. The specimen is from: Mina Esperanza, near Melchor Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico.
