Nanette Ice Skater Arranbee R&B Doll Ballerina All Original Hard Plastic 14"

Description: 14" all original hard plastic Arranbee doll. She has been restrung. Floss hair is in the original style and looks very nice. This type of wig is usually found completely destroyed. They are so fragile. She has been gently cleaned. I was even more gentle around her eyes. I did not want to do anything to damage or rub away her delicate eyelashes and eyebrows. Her original ballet shoes are still tied to her wrist. The shoes have yellowed with age. I left the wrist ties on her when she was lightly cleaned. I did not want to untie them and risk them getting damaged. She comes with her factory original skating dress and panties. The original Marabou feather trim had been eaten by insects, along with some small holes in her satin skirt. I stabilize the holes before I lightly laundered her skating outfit. The feather trim has been replaced with an appropriate and correct feather trim. She really does look outstanding. I tried to photograph the small holes in her skirt, but the feathers get in the way. She comes with her original silver ice skates and socks. One skate was missing a metal blade. I have replaced it with a vintage one. It is the correct size, but a slightly different shape. The replacement blade was originally glued to the skate (And yes the donor was a single shoe). So this one has just been glued on with a water-based glue. The original blades were attached with brad's that went through the sole. I have oiled the original skating shoes and added eyelets to reinforce the lacing holes. She really is spectacular.
