Then two cardboard squares are placed on each side of the records, making a sandwich, then taped together. Next, two layers of bubble wrap around the record sandwich. Using a 14x14x4 (or similar) box depending on the number of discs, more bubble wrap is placed on the bottom of the box, and then the record sandwich on top, adding more bubble wrap above that.
