Description: I can't quite figure out Isabella's expression. Is she sad because whoever gave her the flower just left? Or is she thinking pleasant, secret thoughts she's unwilling to share? Either way, she's dressed elegantly, with a flower embroidered bonnet tied in a pink ribbon that matches the rose at her neck and the one in her hand. The bottom of the lithograph:Lith. & Pub. by N. Currier Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1845, in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York.2 Spruce St. New YorkISABELLA. Nathaniel Currier (before Ives) was located at 2 Spruce Street from 1835 - 1856, fitting with the 1845 date on the lithograph. 16 1/2" x 12 1/2" includes beautifully grained wood frame. Please look closely at the photos - there is a dark spot on the right side, a small tear at the bottom right corner, a deep scratch in the glass 2" in from the bottom right corner of the frame, and it looks like the paper was folded just below the Lithograph identification line.
