Description: This beautiful decorative quilted throw pillow it is not your common 'patchwork fabric squares' quilted pillow but instead a quilting technique is incorporated into the pillow known as 'cathedral window" textures (please see close up photo of center accent). This is hard to find in a quilted pillow given the time it takes to create this special texture. Sure to please, and become a family heirloom pillow given the unique qualities and intricate handwork. They require an extensive amount of time to create and so we will have only a limited number to offer. There are four center accent squares, each constructed using the quilting technique known as 'cathedral windows'; each fabric square is folded to surround the animal accent, and then hand sewn to create the texture; four of these squares make up the center of the pillow, each sewn together, then top stitched with a decorative blanket stitch. The back of the pillow is flannel. There are no customary back or side seams as the flannel fabric comes from back to front on all four edges and is hand stitched to the front alongside the decorative 'cathedral windows'. The pillow is filled with premium polyester fiberfill, and a button is sewn in the center front accent to finish the top pillow accent.
