These are professionally made to exact measurements from an Original NOS gasket I had in my parts inventory.The New Gasket material is specifically designed to hold up totoday'snew types of gasolineand all the additives, a plain old cork gasket will not. I recommend that a Gasket Sealant such as Permatex #97B or Versachem Type 97be used when replacing this gasket.
