I only took the pipe out for photographs and packed it securely back into the box, inside the sock with extra tissue paper keeping it secure. - P I like this Bent Rhodesian a lot. It does remind me of the Peterson #99 in styling though a bit less of a bend. I love the medium bend of these pipes. They still pass a pipe cleaner while reducing the perceived weight when clenching hands free and keeps the pipe out of your line-of-sight, not blocking you vision while working or relaxing. These Vikings are excellent do-it-all pipes. They’re medium sized in most all respects and fit the bill for nearly any smoke. I really like the line and a Bjarne Viking Classic was my very first pipe I got 20 years ago and it is still a favorite of mine. These are great bang for the buck and Denmark made pipes have always had good quality in my own experience. Bjarne of course has a great reputation. These sometimes have small blemishes but not always and they’re not seconds either. Just an affordable pipe that I get whenever I can as my experiences have been very good with them. This sandblasted black and silver look is really cool with the stem having a spigot or Army Mount look to it, adding to the styling. The acrylic stem won’t oxidize and is a deep, shiny black.
