They were made by New Bright exclusively for Dillards and have long been out of production. Since these bear versions were sold in very limited numbers, they are hard to find and very collectible. This Tree Top Tender has a polar bear cub on the front and an elf that pops up out of his hiding spot in the rear. Also has great flashing lights across the top. The Tender is the car that picks up power from the track and sends it forward to power the engine up front and it also runs the lights on all the cars that follow. The Tender also houses the speaker for all the sounds that the train makes. Fully plug-in compatible with the entire single-wire Holiday Express train line up (380 single-wire, 383, 384, 385, 386 & 387 series). Does not work with the 2-wire 380 series trains (meaning two separate wires that plug in-between the tender and locomotive). This tender have been test run for proper working operation. Don't get stuck buying a dud; all my trains have been hooked up and actually test run on the track for lights and animation. They will have good rolling wheels, no broken connectors or couplers.
