A few years back, I was on a personal mission to find the perfect Caribbean drink. I was in Tortuga(which is an island off of the north coast of Haiti) sipping on a piña colada, exhilarating in its unique taste, and the hotel bar where I was staying. A gentleman sat next to me at the bar, and naturally we started talking. He told me everybody called him.” Josie”. Well, I introduce myself and remarked that that was an unusual name. He said oh just a combination of my first name and my first initial of my last name. Well, as I sat there pondering that, he told me that his name was Joe Caribbean. Well, we sat there talking and having a few more piña coladas. And then a few more piña coladas. And then a few more piña coladas. And after that I lost count. But I do remember, that he asked me where is my wrist watch. I told him that the day before I had been snorkeling out in the bay. Said when I came around a rock below the surface, a big old Octopus grabbed hold my arm and wrapped his big old tentacle around my wrist. Well, I jerked away and thank goodness he had only a hold on the wrist watch. I was able to get away, But I tell you the truth, Josie, I forgot that the watch wasn’t waterproof. So it didn’t bother me that the octopus kept it. Well, he found the story amusing and I guess out of sympathy he took his wrist watch off and gave it to me. Well, I personally like a Timex, so I’m gonna put this out here for y’all. Look at all the pictures, because I have highlighted the pros and cons of this watch. Please notice that the buckle has no prong and the wristband is cracked where the prong goes through it also needs a battery. also I think I got all the sand off of it from Tortuga
