New Harry Havnoonian Pista Frame, Fork, Head Set and Stem

Description: For sale is a new Harry Havnoonian TIG welded Reynolds 853 track frame, Reynolds 531 silver brazed fork, one of our TIG welded 4130N stems and a Chris King InSet internal bearing headset. Before getting too far into the description I wanted to let you know that the pictures didn't capture the true paint job. In the pictures it looks root beer colored but in reality it is the deepest, richest candy apple red. The paint is a true candy apple meaning its was first painted with a fine metallic silver base coat then painted with a red tinted clear. Decals were applied and clear coated. The clear was wet sanded and re-clear coated. The process of sanding and clear coating was repeated until the clear flowed out like glass and the decals aren't felt. This is why the paint looks as deep and rich as it is. Who paints like this? Todd Eroh from Selinsgrove Pa. If your not familiar with Todd that's probably because he doesn't paint thousands of bikes. He paints bikes perfectly and this frame is truly representative of his craft. This frame is made from Reynolds 853 tubing. The top and down tubes are bi-oval (the ovals major axis' at each end of the tube are perpendicular to each other for added strength without additional weight. These tubes are of a proprietary design that Reynolds makes exclusively for us. The seat tube flares to 1-1/4" at the bottom bracket end and is then ovalized for even more lateral stiffness....another HH exclusive. Seat stays are a massive 19mm that taper as they approach the dropouts. At the upper end the seat stays are spread apart from each other slightly so that when welded they extend onto the top tube giving more strength. Forks are Reynolds 531 track blades that are 24mm round. The HH engraved head tube is TrueTemper and is 46.5mm OD....large enough to fit the Chris King InSet internal bearing headset. The HH engraved fork crown and front dropouts are investment cast for strength and precision. The flanged rear dropouts are from Paragon Machine Works and are of the strongest design we've ever seen. We drilled and brazed in robust 6mm chain adjusters making this bike capable of harnessing the most explosive of sprints. In terms of sizing the seat tube measures 505mm center to center. Because the top tube slopes toward the seat tube and we measure center to center this sounds like a small size. The more important number is the stand over height which is the distance from the top of the top tube mid way along its length to the ground with the wheels mounted. For this frame that's 885mm (34.8"). The top tube is 540mm measured center to center along its length. If the top tube were parallel to the ground it wound measure 550mm. The dropout spacing is 120mm at the rear and 100mm up front. Seat post sizing is 27.2mm. The HH engraved stem is 110mm long and accepts a 31.7mm handlebar. Because the fork and frame are built with very tight tolerances there is no hope (or provision) for mounting brakes. This is a beautiful, serious track racing frame designed not to be desecrated with brakes and cables. Its clean, basic, beautiful, functional, simple and capable. No returns or refunds.
