As this car goes down the track it ejects ties every 3 inches or so for the track crew to come by and install. Included with this car are the instructions, 20 ties and 2 track trips that allow you to set where the tie ejecting mechanism starts and stops. The car has one knuckle coupler so it can pull one car to carry additional maintenance supplies. This car is a 1997 remake of the 1957 Lionel #55 tie-jector car and features a precision can motor drive and ejecting mechanism which likely works much better than the post-war version!
