Description: For sale is one new, blemished*: SRAM 900/DT Swiss R-470 Front Wheel, 700C, 6-Bolt Disc, Quick-Release and 12/15/20mm Thru Axle. *Condition Note: Rim has some some superficial blemishing to the anodized finish in a few areas. This is unfortunately typical and occurred sometime before the wheel was wrapped in plastic, possibly before it was even built. Effects are difficult to capture on camera, but the worse areas are shown in the final photos. The wheel still makes a good impression overall and such wear tends to happen with use, besides. Product is functionally excellent and has never been mounted. This Road/CX 6-Bolt Disc 700C Front Wheel features SRAM 900 Hub, DT Swiss R-470 32H Rim, and DT Swiss Straight 2.0 Spokes. Included are adapters for quick-release, 12mm thru axle, 15mm thru axle, and 20mm thru axle. 32-spoke build is durable enough for road and gravel, with a maximum recommended equipment limit of 120kg/264lbs. Rim is tubeless-ready. Rim tape and valve are not included. After a few hours of riding, new wheels relax and need to be checked for tension to ensure strength. If you are unskilled in this procedure, adjustment should be done by a professional. Rim tape and valves are not included. Opinions on tape width vary; but for tubeless tape, 23mm allows for full coverage plus slight crawl up the sides. Inner rim width is 20mm. I have successfully double-taped these rims with 24mm Scotch 8898 for use with tubes; but this was due to it being on hand.
