Here is a recently finished 2.1 B pitched CHIKUSING Model natural bore style flutes with no inlay. This is essentially a JINASHI flute with only authentic Japanese shuai urushi lacquer to seal the bore. This is a wide bore flute made with Wayazumi style of music blustery and evocative. It its also a very sweet flute when blown more gently creating a warm, round and enveloping tone. It’s a very functional flute that can go from a whisper to a scream in the right hands. It can be play melodic ally in Western musical situations but more perfect with Japanese Honkyoku in mind. Or, it’s simply perfect for solo playing in your quiet room for meditation or experimental playing. It was made from traditional Madake bamboo that’s been aged for over 40 years.
