THE NEW STUFF JUST DOESNT HOLD UP AFTER A FEW TIMES IN THE WATER THEY GET TARNISHED AND THE SILVER PLATE STARTS FADING. IN 2012 NICHOLS SOLD THE COMPANY TO SOMEONE IN ARAKANSAS AND THE QUALITY WENT DOWN AFTER THAT. THESE ARE THE FIRST GENERATION ONES HANDMADE BY NICHOLS HIMSELF AND THESE HELPED KEVIN VANDAM WIN ROOKIE OF THE YEAR IN 1991 AND ANGLER OF THE YEAR IN 1992 IF YOU READ THE BACK OF THE LURE. ALL ARE BRAND NEW INTHE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. Pictures show condition. any white marks are camera glare. Vintage fishing lures and tackle are a good investment.
